Will my alarm ring if the app is closed?

On iPhone, yes: Horula uses Apple's AlarmKit, so alarms ring with the app closed, the phone locked, or on silent. Allow alarms when Horula asks. On the web, the page has to stay open to ring.

How do I move my alarms to a new device?

Open Settings, choose Export Backup, then Import Backup on the other device. The same file works on the web and in the app.

Can I start a timer from a link or Shortcut?

On the web, add #timer=10m or #alarm=07:30 to the address. In the app, use horula://timer?d=10m or horula://alarm?t=07:30.
